The idea of Real World Travel came to fruition in April of 2021 after spending 20 years in the Corporate and Supplier industry.

I discovered my love for travel at the age of 17 after my first travel experience to Europe. I graduated college with a degree in Business Marketing from the University of Arkansas in 2002. Part of my studies included an international marketing program in Paderno del Grapa, Italy where I lived and traveled extensively for one semester.

From there, I continued to travel with my career into Asia and Hong Kong. All my life experiences led me to my passion: to create a business that serves people and helps them travel well.

James resides in the Philippines and is the heartbeat behind every perfectly executed journey at Real World Travel. As Melissa’s executive assistant, he handles all the behind-the-scenes details, from building digital itinerary proposals to managing bookings and payments, arranging concierge services and dinner reservations, and keeping seamless communication with our clients. His knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and boundless positive energy ensures that every trip runs flawlessly from start to finish. James is an invaluable part of our team, bringing joy, expertise, and a level of care that elevates every travel experience we craft.
